Good Things to Know
Get to the studio, and I will take care of the rest. I know the first few weeks (lets be honest, years) after you've welcomed a new baby are tough. And making the trek out of your home to have your photos taken may not be want you feel like doing, but trust me when I say as long as you and your baby get here safely, I will take care of the rest. I have coffee, snacks, cold drinks and anything you could possibly have forgotten out of your nappy bag. I've got you covered!
You will get to see all of your images before you decide what to order. No matter if you have a $500 budget or a $5000 one, the same amount of time and care will go into preparing, taking and retouching your images. You will be able to see all of your images in a password protected gallery before you decide how much you'd like to invest.
Kids cry, and babies poop. Things that may 'go wrong' in your session (including 2 year old temper tantrums and babies peeing on the photographer) are not wrong at all! These things happen every day here, and they are completely normal and natural. Don't worry if this happens during your photoshoot, but maybe bring a change of clothes just incase!
Safety is always #1. A lot of work goes into creating beautiful newborn images behind the scenes that you may not know about. Some poses require more than one image to be worked together in photoshop, and others simply cannot be done by every baby. I will always give my all to ensure you get the images you want, but I will never compromise the safety or comfort of a baby for the sake of an image.
Book your session as early as possible. Booking your newborn session while you are still pregnant will help you to secure a spot on my busy calendar. It also gives us plenty of time to discuss your goals for your session and make sure you get images that you fall in love with. If you're little one is already earthside don't worry! I always try my best to fit in every new baby, so please message me today so we can get a date locked in as soon as possible.
